Manage document change notifications

You can set up notifications, modify or delete them when a document is updated. Here's how you can manage them effectively.

  1. Open a document in Viewer Viewers are users with Read-only access to documents. They can access documents and submit feedback to editors.

  2. Click More More menu.

  3. Select Actions > Notify me of changes.

  4. In the Notification period dialog box, complete the following fields:

    Alert level 

    Select either:

    Email (optional): 

    • In addition to the Message or Alert, you can opt to receive an email notification either immediately, daily or on a weekly frequency.

    • Select the appropriate check box if you wish to receive an email. The time of day and day of the week is configurable.

    • Ask your Panviva administrator when to expect daily or weekly email notifications.
  5. Click Save.

When the Viewer is displayed:

  1. Click More More menu.

  2. Select User > Notification list.

    The Notification list displays a list of documents for which you receive notifications of change.

Change a notification 

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Select the alert level or frequency.

  3. Click Save .

    The save confirmation displays. 

Delete a notification 

  1. Click Delete .

    The deletion confirmation displays.
